One of three kits, Anise was born in a litter of three, Carmellia a sapphire  and Jarrah a male carrier.

 

Born at 57g, Anise was the largest kit in the litter, but does not appear to bully her siblings. She is very active .

 

As she grew Anise continued to remain bigger than her siblings and when weaned was caged with Chia and Almond, unfortunately she was disturbed by the flow of the air con close to her cage and when there did chew her own fur slightly, but ceased upon being moved - so it is assumed that the movement of air irritated her fur and caused her to nibble.

 

It is not believed to be a genetically linked chewing, but due to this she will not be kept for our breeding program but has been sold off to a new owner aware of this.

 

She left mid-October 2004.
