Ash was bought along with Willow as a present for my partner at the time. They were obtained via a pet store and were breed by the assistant there, The parents of both chins were all standard Greys.
Ash has always been a very inquisitive and friendly chinchilla, he is very active and always the first to try and hop out the cage when the door is opened. He is extremely good with the kits that he has and is often the rock they keep jumping on and over when the female will often be hiding at the top of the cage.
He loves to have a fuss and is extremely easy going with all other chins. When we unfortunately lost willow, he very easily paired up with Milly when he was returned to me when my ex partner moved house and could no longer look after him.
