Born in a litter of two, Acacia (66g) was the larger kit in the litter, Balsam, being slightly smaller (63g).

 

I am hoping that the kits keep mums lovely temperament and dads friendliness.

 

Balsam seems fairly laid back and very snuggly with his mum, he is very inquisitive when out though and does like to ty and explore and run off when he is out for his handling and weighing.

 

At 3 weeks old Acacia and Balsam were moved to Tansy to be weaned as her milk was not strong enough for the three triplets she had born, so she fed the twins whilst they were also feeding on pellet - so all the babies had the best chance of survival and all have thrived.

 

He has grown well since this time, cage sharing with other males. He will be entering breeding soon once he has attended a couple more shows.
