Greenwood Chinchillas
Beech
Male - GW0307M1
Standard Grey
Born: 4/7/2003
Parents
Beech's delivery was a complete and utter surprise to me. I had received his parents as a rescue from a breeder that said they were two males - I didn't check that fact assuming a breeder would know the right sexes and kept them separate from my females to ensure they would not fight.
18 months later I walk in to the room containing the cage and find Beech running around the bottom of the cage! a very pleasant addition to an already growing family. He was the only kit born in this litter. Both parents are potentially violet carriers, but this is not yet confirmed in kits that have been produced.
He is a little bit skittish when lifting from the cage - but once out is very friendly - but does like to explore. He will make a fab chinchilla for someone that wants a friendly chin and can give it time and attention.
Along with Cedar and Lupin, Beech went off to live in Oxford with Dave.
