Briarlea is lovely little chin, a bit skittish as he is used to a breeders environment - so you only handle him on his terms, he sometimes wants a fuss and a cuddle but more often than not he simply backs away - so when he is like that I leave him and let him get on with it - makes it all the more special when he does want to come out for a cuddle.
He arrived with me on 28th Oct 2003, and stayed for a few months until Debbie had some females with whom she can put him. He arrived unproven, in the hope that he could produce kits with one or two females whilst here to prove himself.
He was purchased by Debbie from Heaven Chinchillas, and his parents were from Lynne Gardner and Chris Bridges lines.
Briarlea returned to Debbie at the Portsmouth Show, February 2004.
During the time he was here, he fathered two kits. Since being returned he has been lent to another friend with a view to breeding Charcoal Carrying kits.
