Eve was the only chinchilla born here so far not to be called after a plant - she was born on New Years Eve, in the middle of a hypnotherapy session that I was performing on a client!
She was not there at the start of the session but was by the end of it - needless to say the client kept checking up on her welfare whenever she returned!
Eve is a very friendly chin, she is an addict for raisins and have to keep the treats to a minimum as she does tend to try and over eat! Don't want to have to put her on a diet!
Originally h intention had been to sell this kit when it was born - but she was such a beauty that I could not part with her - hence she is still a part of my growing family of chins!
I took Eve to the Chinchilla Show in Birdwell on 21st September 2003, this was my first show and i was very pleasantly surprised when she received a Highly Recommended award - there were comments that she was undersize but had good fur quality, soft silky fur that stood up well and a good blue white hue.
Following the large increase in the number of animals that we have here, Eve and Oak are now living with a close friend where they can get more individual attention and time than they can here. They produced a female standard kit in January 2004
