Flax was born a month later than I expected him to be - totally unexpectedly as i had given up thinking that Milly was pregnant and simply had got fat! I couldn't feel any baby inside her when checked! Then when i was away for a couple of days again she gave birth! Milly seems to have a habit of catching me out!
His sister, from an earlier pairing of these two, has been awarded a Highly Commended when shown and he appears to be same quality and size. She would have got a higher award but is rather small - remains to be seen if Flax grows bigger over time.
Flax may be for sale, but will be shown before he is released for sale. He is growing and developing well, though remains a little shy of being handled he is getting better - so long as the treats come afterwards!
