One of three kits, Jarrah was born in a litter of three.  He was the only male in the litter, his litter mates were  Carmellia a sapphire female and Anise a standard sapphire carrier.  It was Tansy's first litter and arrived two days later than expected.

 

Born at 52g, Jarrah is the smallest in size of the litter, though Carmellia was the same birth weight. 

 

It was likely, that he would be staying as he developed to be used as future breeding stock by pairing to the unrelated carriers Bluebell and Cornflower, to continue and strengthen the Sapphire lines that we have.  But due to a successful years breeding and the forthcoming arrival of new and unrelated sapphire and sapphire carrying males he has been sold and rehomed to a new owner.

 

He left on 16th September 2004
