Laurel arrived from Richline Chinchillas, along with Heath, Marigold and Rowan.
They are all very timid animals and not great fans of being handled, but with time and patience I am sure they will get to like it a bit more.
Laurel didn't settle in very well when she arrived and lost a lot of weight. Thankfully with care, time and a variety of different pellets and hays we seem to have found a combination tat now works for her and she is slowly regaining weight. She will be paired to Heath once here weight and health have returned, till then she is resting.
Unfortunately despite much veterinary care and testing no solution was found, and Laurel died Feb 2004
