Lizzie arrived from Rojo Chinchillas along with her sister, Henna.
Roger had shown Lizzie a few times and always had god results so when she was offered for sale to me I was glad to say yes. She was to be delivered to me at the Napton show at the end of Jan 2004, but due to changes in Rogers circumstances and a cut back in his herd she was collected earlier than that.
Lizzie is a complete chin with attitude, she has not been handled a lot and pees at you each and every time you go in the cage - time and patience will hopefully win her over. Until such time as she proves herself to be good tempered she wont be used for breeding - to us personality is as important as looks in our breeding program.
She went off to live with Claire B off CU who has had great success in her socialisation and rehabilitation. After a period of being there Clair managed to socialise Lizzie to females but she was still bad with men.
She was returned at the Portsmouth Show November 2004, but went off to live with Jess for a while to get more used to male company as well as female before returning to Greenwood Chinchillas.
