Maddie came in as part of a large family of chins from Lancashire as rescues. The couple that had them could no longer cope as were expecting a baby so asked me to rehome them. They arrive Smudge and Pernod, in the same cage as Lennox and Audley, and baby Cedar! A separate cage contained Maisie and Maddie, two females from an earlier litter.
First thing done when they arrived home was split them all up - mum to a cage of her own with Cedar, Dad left with older boys (dad and Audley went off to a new home in Welwyn Garden City - 26 Sept 2003). Maisie was rehomed down to Essex - 12th Sept 2003).
Maddie is a chin with attitude - she is ok with people and being handled but is not a great fan of other female chins -thankfully she likes the males! or at least the flirting she does through the bars of her cage at the others across the room suggests she does! As with her brother Lennox, I feel she is a lovely chin, shape, size and colour wise and am going to show her to see what results she gets - i feel she could be a good asset to a breeding program if bred to a calm lmale to try and ensure the kits have a lovely balanced upbringing - so shall find her a nice calm male for pair breeding.
