Marigold arrived from Richline Chinchillas, along with Heath, Rowan and Laurel
They are all very timid animals and not great fans of being handled, but with time and patience I am sure they will get to like it a bit more.
Marigold is a half sister to Heath, they have the same Sire, so she is the only Richline chin not currently paired with the others. She has been paired up with Fred, a Fred Duggins standard male that I have, so that hopefully kits that are produced can be crossed back to others from the Richline Chinchillas line in order to keep a good strong separate line going to the Chingus Herd animals.
She is a lovely quiet chin who isn't too keen on being handled but makes friends with the other chins very easily - both male and female.
Marigold was lent to Renaissance Chinchillas as part of their breeding program on a kit share basis January 2005
