Molly is a lovely huge female, but is not very good at being handled. She will bark and growl until you have a firm grip on her then gives up and becomes all limp and cuddly.

 

She is a lit hog at her food bowl and gives you little chance to put it down before she is trying to sit over the top of it and start eating.

 

She is very slow to move round when you lift her out of her cage to exercise, but is very friendly towards the other chins that she does come into contact with.

 

In the past for Chingus Chinchillas, she has produced some kits, but to date has not yet produced any whilst at Greenwood, though she always gives a very good impression of being pregnant - lying on her side, stretching, sleeping deeply.   Many a time I have thought that a birth must be imminent, but to date she has not produced any!
