Born in a litter of 2 beige, at 56g Peanut was the slightly smaller of the two kits, his sister, Almond, weighed 60g.  Mum, Freda, had gained over 300g in this pregnancy and was dreading a much larger litter.  The litter arrived a week earlier than the expected date but thankfully there are no problem with either kit as they are very active and mobile from birth.

 

Mum had the kits in her sand bath as they were not expected for another week, and they were only discovered when I heard them squeaking fighting to get milk.

 

Peanut is a lovely light beige shade, but slightly darker than his sister, and very similar to his dad's colouration.

 

He was sold on 12th October 2004, going off to a pet home with Bramble.
