Tarragon arrived after a long search for a male charcoal carrier.  There are so few charcoal related animals available that he was the first male animal available  - pastel being a combination of a homozygous charcoal with beige.

 

Thankfully he was also a very good animal, having been placed for a third ribbon when exhibited by Paul Spooner.
